Grupa Azoty has expanded its product portfolio with a new multi-nutrient fertilizer. Produced in Police, POLIFOSKA Multi B guarantees a high concentration of water-soluble nutrients, ensuring rapid availability for crops. The fertilizer is enriched with boron and sulfur.
Grupa Azoty’s financial results for Q4 and the full year 2024 are in line with previously published estimates. In 2024, the Group generated consolidated sales revenue of PLN 13.043 billion and an EBITDA result of minus PLN 330 million, with an EBITDA margin of minus 2.5%. This represents an improvement in EBITDA of more than PLN 1 billion compared to 2023. The net loss was reduced from PLN 3.29 billion in 2023 to PLN 1.1 billion in 2024.
Grupa Azoty is expanding its portfolio of multinutrient fertilizers with the launch of MultiCorn NP (S) 14-34 (+23) enriched with zinc. Manufactured by Grupa Azoty Police, this advanced fertilizer is particularly recommended for maize cultivation due to its rich nutrient profile.
The new product, called Vitaplon 9-23-30, is a first universal fertilizer that is entering the market from Grupa Azoty’s Gdańsk-based company, Grupa Azoty Fosfory. Thanks to its properties, it is particularly recommended for the cultivation of both winter and spring cereals, winter rapeseed, corn, sugar beets, potatoes, as well as for green fodder.
The new product, named RSM BioShot, is a deep-placement nitrogen fertilizer from the group of nitrate-urea solutions (RSM). Its liquid form, containing 32% N and enriched with sucrose, has a biostimulatory effect that supports root development as well as overall plant growth and health. The fertilizer is produced by the Puławy-based company of Grupa Azoty, which for 30 years has been supplying Polish farmers with nitrate-urea solutions of various nitrogen concentrations and with different additives.
For several weeks now, fertilizer prices have been on an upward trend in the main global markets. This is the result of several factors – demand, fertilizer availability, and supply logistics. Fertilizers are becoming moderately more expensive both in countries with low and stable production costs and in countries where costs are high and subject to rapid changes. In light of the trend observed over several quarters of postponing fertilizer purchases until just before the seasonal peak, Grupa Azoty consistently recommends spreading purchases over several batches to reduce the risk of buying products at high prices.
