Definitions

  1. Policy – means this Cookie Policy.
  2. Website – means the Operators’ websites and the grupaazoty.com website.
  3. Cookies – mean IT data, including small text files, saved and stored on devices used by the User to access the Website.
  4. Operators’ Cookies – mean Cookies placed by Operators in connection with the provision of online services by Service Providers via the Website.
  5. Third-Party Cookies – mean Cookies placed by Operators’ Partners via the Website.
  6. Device – means an electronic device used by the User to access the Website.
  7. Operators – companies of the Grupa Azoty Group listed in Appendix 1 to this Policy.
  8. User – means any person using the Website in any way.

Section 2
Cookie Policy

    1. The Website Operators represent that they store, and access information stored, on the User’s Devices via Cookies when providing online services.
    2. Cookies are necessary for the proper provision of services on the Website.
    3. The Cookies used by the Operators are safe for the User’s Devices. In particular, no viruses or other unwanted software or malicious software may enter the User’s Devices via the Cookies. Cookies help to identify the software used by the User and adjust the Website individually to the User’s needs.
    4. The Operators use two types of Cookies:
      1. Session Cookies: they arestored on the User’s Device and remain there until the end of the browser session. The saved information is then permanently deleted from the memory of the User’s Device;
      2. Persistent Cookies: they are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until they are deleted. Ending the session of a browser or turning off the Device does not delete them from the User’s Device.
    5. The mechanism of Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies allows no personal data or confidential information to be downloaded from the User’s Device. Personal data will not be processed or stored via Cookies.
    6. The Operators use Cookies for the following purposes:
      1. Website configuration – to adjust the content of the Website to reflect user preferences and optimise user experience;
      2. website traffic audit, research and analytics – to collect general and anonymous statistical data and to produce anonymous statistics with analytical tools that help to understand how Users interact with the Website, all in order to improve its structure and content;
      3. provision of advertising services – to serve advertisements that match user preferences.
    7. The Operators use Third-Party Cookies to configure the Website by:
      1. tailoring the Website content to user preferences,
      2. optimisinguser experience (Cookie Administrator: the Operators).
    8. The User may change Cookie settings at any time, defining the rules for storing Cookies on the User’s Device and gaining access to the User’s Device via Cookies. The User may change Cookie settings by changing browser settings. Browser settings may be changed particularly by disabling automatic Cookie handling or by enabling the User to be notified when a cookie is placed on the User’s Device.The User may remove Cookies at any time using the options available in the browser used.
    9. The Service Providers advise that any limitation of the use of Cookies, as referred to in the preceding paragraph, may affect certain functions that require Cookies to operate properly.
