Polskie Centrum Badań i Certyfikacji S.A. (PCBC) has completed a conformity assessment of the Grupa Azoty Group’s fertilizing products with the requirements set forth in Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of the European Parliament and of the Council. Following the assessment, the Group was awarded certificates confirming that its fertilizing products meet the requirements effective in the European Union as of July 16th 2022. The certificates also confirm conformity of the Group’s manufacturing quality systems.
Successful completion of the certification process allows the Group to affix the CE mark with the identification number of the notified body (PCBC S.A.) on its fertilizing products.
PCBC assessed conformity of the fertilizing products notified by the Grupa Azoty Group and conducted audits to confirm conformity of the manufacturing quality systems in place at individual companies of the Group.
The certificates have been awarded for the following fertilizing products: AS 21 ammonium sulfate (standard, macro, select, crystalline), calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN) 27 standard, CAN 27 standard plus, CAN 27 standard with boron, ammonium sulfate nitrate (ASN) 26, ASN 30, ASN 26 plus, Saletromag 25, Saletromag 24, and Saletromag 25 Ca.

Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 5th 2019 has laid down rules on the making available on the market of EU fertilizing products comprising organo-mineral fertilizers and other fertilizing products, i.e., liming materials, soil improvers, growing media, plant biostimulants, as well as inhibitors.
