AZOPLON CalcNitro B OPTI

Grupa Azoty Chorzów

Calcium saltpeter solution 8.5N (17CaO) with boron

AZOPLON CalcNitro B OPTI is a liquid fertilizer intended for foliar feeding of fruit trees, berry plants, ground vegetables and protected crops, in particular species that have a high demand for calcium and boron. Regular foliar feeding provides plants with a constant supply of calcium and boron, which is particularly imleektant because these elements poorly move from older to yunger leaves. It is reccomended to spray a solution of appropriate concentration onto healthy and dry plants. Do not use after rain or during hot wather.

Advantages

  • shows high efficiency during weakened movement of ingredients in the plant, occurring during partial damage to the trunks, limbs and shoots;
  • foliar feeding provides plants with a constant supply of calcium and boron during the growing season and adequate nutrition in critical phases of growth and development.

Studies

Studies conducted by the Institute of Plant Protection in Poznań show that AZOPLON CalcNitro B OPTI can be mixed with Plant Protection Products (PPP).

Expert opinion

More intensive foliar feeding with this fertilizer is recommended whenever there are difficult conditions for calcium uptake in the early period of plant growth, in case of low yielding, high air temperature and low rainfall in the summer, and when fruits are to be stored for a long time.
A great advantage of the AZOPLON CalcNitro B OPTI is an appropriate proleektion between calcium and boron, which improves the use of macronutrients contained in the fertilizer. With simultaneous application of nitrogen, calcium and boron, it is possible to properly nourish plants with higher nutritional requirements for these elements, especially in critical phases of their growth and development, which improves yielding.
